Band Class Fees

The Chamblee Bulldog Band program consists of three unique concert bands, a percussion ensemble, jazz band, and pep band, as well as marching band*, color guard, and dance team. School district funding simply does not cover all expenses for a program of this size, so your support is greatly appreciated.

Your financial support will help fund:

  • New instrument and equipment purchases
  • Repairs and Maintenance for our aging school instruments
  • New music pieces
  • Professional instruction from visiting clinicians
  • Band Banquet and Senior Awards

*Students in the marching band, color guard, and dance team are assessed an additional annual fee for the costs specific to these activities. Band class fees benefit the concert band program directly.

Rental Instruments

If your student is renting an instrument from the school, please pay the $50 rental fee for the semester to help with maintenance and basic repairs.

Symphonic Camp

LGPE is a big event for band programs across the state, and as such the band needs as much time to prepare as possible. Our after-school rehearsals are vital for students to attend so that the band can find its proper balance, blend and intonation with their percussion sections. We also will have a Symphonic Camp. Symphonic Camp is an opportunity for the students to be taught by professional performers on their instruments, where they will have sectional rehearsals with an instrument-specific master. This camp day is Saturday, February 8, and it is a mandatory event. Tentative schedule as follows:

        • Wind Ensemble - 9:00-10:30
        • Symphonic Band - 11:00-12:30
        • Concert Band - 1:30-3:00

Cost is $15 per student to offset the cost of section coaches. Students may pay online or deposit cash/checks to the band lockbox.

Marching Band Fees

Students in Marching Band are assessed an annual fee to fund the activities of the Marching Band including band camp, sectional instructors, meals, transportation, uniform rentals/purchases/dry cleaning, and the halftime show music and drill. If you have not yet paid your Marching Band fees in full, please do so now.
