23-24 Marching Band Season Overview

Season Schedule and Rehearsals

The Football Game Schedule should be announced over the summer.  Regular Marching Band rehearsals during the school year start on the first day of school and are as follows:

Marching Competitions

Two Saturdays a years, we participate in marching band competitions. These dates are released as soon as possible, but normally don't get released until July/August. Attendance at competitions, games and rehearsals is mandatory.

Pre-Season Game / Scrimmage: Friday, August 4

vs. Miller Grove - 7:00 PM @ North Dekalb Stadium.  

Game 1: Friday, August 18

@ South Cobb (Away Game) - 7:30 PM @ South Cobb

Game 2: Friday, August 25

@ Towers - 7:30 PM @ Avondale

Game 3: Friday, September 1

vs. Dunwoody - 7:30 PM @ North Dekalb Stadium

Game 4: Friday, September 8

vs. Duluth - 7:30 PM @ North Dekalb Stadium

Game 5: Friday, September 15

@ Riverwood - 7:30 PM @ Riverwood

Game 6: Thursday, September 28

@ MLK - 7:00 PM @ Godfrey

Game 7: Friday, October 6

@ Tucker - 7:30 PM @ Adams

Game 8: Friday, October 20

vs Arabia Mountain - 7:30 PM @ North Dekalb Stadium

Game 9: Friday, October 27

Decatur - 7:30 PM @ Decatur

Game 10: Thursday, November 2

vs Lithonia - 7:00 PM @ North Dekalb Stadium

*Dates for CHS Senior Night, Homecoming and Middle School Band Night have not been announced.

We welcome all incoming and returning band students that want to join the fun!

The Chamblee Marching Bulldogs is an extracurricular ensemble made up of the Marching Band (instrumentalist and percussion) and Color Guard.  They perform at all Chamblee HS varsity football games and various marching competitions.  

Our mission is to create a fun social and competitive experience for students interested in music and performance.
