New to Marching Band?

Plan ahead! You’ll need a blue, 1-Gallon, Coleman water jug. This is part of your uniform. They can be found in Walmart, Kroger, and Target and are also available on Amazon. You’ll need this by Band Camp, but start looking now!

Marching Band Season Schedule

All are subject to change.

Technique Camp

Monday, May 17 to Friday, May 21, 4:30-6:30 and Saturday, May 22, 9:00am to noon. On the CCHS Practice Field.

Parent Meet & Greet

Saturday, May 22, 11:30am to noon in the breeze way next to Bulldog Plaza (open area between the school buildings, overlooking the CCHS practice field).

Percussion and Color Guard Camp

July 12-15, 2021, location TBA

Mandatory for Percussion and Color Guard only.

Band Camp

July 19-23, 2021, location TBD (but will be local)

Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm. Mandatory for ALL marching band including Percussion and Color Guard.

Dues for 2021-22 Season

Dues are $450. Please pay in full by June 30, 2021. Scholarships are available upon request, contact Ms Marin for more info..

Dues include:

  • "Show Shirt" T-shirt

  • Band Camp

  • Meals before games

  • Show music

  • Section coaches

  • Uniform maintenance

Physical Form/Dragonfly Due by June 30

DCSD requires that each band member (1) complete a physical evaluation prior to participation (2) upload the completed physical form to, and fill out a medical profile in Dragonfly. See below for how to navigate this process.

  • Complete pages 1 and 2 of this form. Your child's doctor must complete pages 3 and 4 during a physical. Physicals must be dated 4/1/21 or later. Physicals dated earlier than 4/1/21 will not be accepted.

  • Once your physical is complete, upload a scan or picture of the form to Dragonfly. The advantage of using Dragonfly is that, in the event of an injury, school staff and emergency personnel will have immediate access to your athlete's medical information.

  • New to Dragonfly or need a refresher? See this flyer for more info.

  • Completed Dragonfly last year and only need to upload a new physical? Sign-on and upload your new/updated physical, and confirm everything is accurate on your profile.

  • Already participating in another sport, and you have an up-to-date Dragonfly record? Contact Ms. Marin and let her know.
